Terms and conditions
Version of 27 September 2026. This is a translation: the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the holiday rental of Woodlodge accommodation booked on this website. The host is [à compléter] ([à compléter]), SIRET [à compléter], [à compléter]. The person who books is the guest. Any booking implies acceptance of these terms.
2. Booking
Bookings are made online: choice of dates and number of guests, acceptance of these terms, then payment. A booking is final once payment is confirmed. The guest then receives a confirmation email with a link to the rental agreement, which includes the description of the accommodation. The accommodation is let for a short stay and cannot become the guest's main residence.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The total price covers the accommodation, cleaning and linen, and the tourist tax. Booking on this website comes with a discount on the price charged on booking platforms, shown in the price breakdown.
4. Payment
The full price is paid when booking, by card, on Stripe's secure payment page. The host never has access to card details.
5. Cancellation by the guest
The guest cancels by writing to [à compléter].
- At least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time: full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before check-in: the first night is due; the other nights, cleaning and the tourist tax are refunded.
- After check-in: nights that have not started 24 hours after the cancellation are refunded, along with the corresponding tourist tax.
Refunds are made within 14 days, to the card used for payment.
6. Cancellation by the host
If the host has to cancel, all sums paid are refunded within 14 days and the host will do their best to help the guest find equivalent accommodation, without prejudice to the guest's statutory rights.
7. No right of withdrawal
Accommodation booked for a specific date carries no right of withdrawal (article L. 221-28, 12°, of the French Consumer Code).
8. The stay
Check-in and check-out take place at the times shown on the accommodation page and in the agreement. The number of guests may not exceed the capacity of the accommodation. Guests respect the house rules, the neighbours and the property, and are liable for any damage during their stay. No security deposit is required.
9. Tourist tax
The tourist tax is collected on behalf of the Aux sources du canal du Midi community of municipalities, at the current rate. Guests under 18 are exempt. The amount is shown in the price breakdown.
10. Foreign guests
As required by French regulations, guests of foreign nationality fill in an individual police registration form on arrival. The host keeps it for six months.
11. Personal data
The information provided (name, email, phone, dates, number of guests) is used only to manage the booking, the stay and the host's legal obligations (accounting, tourist tax, police registration). It is never sold or shared. Payment is processed by Stripe. Accounting records are kept for ten years, police registration forms for six months. Guests may request access to, correction or deletion of their data, within the limits of these obligations, by writing to [à compléter], and may contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
12. Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the guest may use the consumer mediation service free of charge: [à compléter], [à compléter].
